Saiu o Eisner! Brasileira vence “Oscar dos quadrinhos” por HQ em parceria com Tom King; confira todos os vencedores

A brasileira Bilquis Evely venceu o Prêmio Eisner – o chamado “Oscar dos quadrinhos” – na categoria Melhor Artista/Arte-finalista por seu trabalho em Helen de Wyndhorn, roterizada por ninguém menos que Tom King. A HQ acaba de sair no Brasil pela Editora Suma.

Os vencedores foram conhecidos na noite dessa sexta-feira (25) em plena San Diego Comic Con, em uma cerimônia de gala realizada no San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel (confira a relação dos vencedores abaixo).

Bilquis Evely nasceu em São Paulo. Começou a carreira trabalhando na QH Luluzinha Teen e Sua Turma. Em seguida, aventurou-se no mercado americano, contribuindo com Doc Savage e Shaft, da Dynamite. Em 2015, começou a trabalhar com a DC Comics, ilustrando obras como Sugar & Spike, Mulher Maravilha e O Universo de Sandman: O Sonhar.

Em 2020, colaborou pela primeira vez com Tom King e Matheus Lopes na aclamada minissérie Supergirl: Mulher do Amanhã. Depois disso, a mesma equipe criativa desenvolveu Helen de Wyndhorn, que narra uma história sobre a relação entre uma tutora e sua pupila, unindo fantasia, mistério e drama familiar.
